DOWA HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (14-1, Sotokanda 4-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; 36.4 billion yen; President: SEKIGUCHI Akira) hereby announces that DOWA METALS & MINING CO., LTD. (same location; 1.0 billion yen; President: SUYAMA Toshiaki), its subsidiary, has decided that it will acquire ZINC EXCEL CO., LTD. (same location; 0.2 billion yen; Representative Director: TAKAGI Hiromitsu), a subsidiary of DOWA METALS & MINING CO., LTD., on April 1, 2023, through an absorption-type merger, with a view to strengthening services for clients through closer collaboration with DOWA Group's other businesses and improving organizational efficiency.
